Farewell PES

Being at Pt England has come to an end. I have learnt many different things, like reading writing and doing maths. Also learning to draw, animate, play an instrument and many more.I have achieved many of my goals.  I would like to thank the teacher who help me to get better at all these things, we do at school.I will miss the many of friends and Pt England school and everyone else. Goodbye!

Thank you Johnson & Johnson for your wonderful gifts that you have given us. We appreciate your hard work wrapping the gifts and getting present for us. You guys are so kind. I was grateful that I got a wood WorX Racing car, It was awesome playing with it because I got to build the car and paint it.

Camp Keswick

Camp Kezwick has been an amazing experience for me throughout the past 4 days in Rotorua. Rotovegas had many fun activities and tourist attractions, this beautiful place had a lot of fresh water lakes to hot mud pools to a very stinky egg smell. We did a lot of walking in bush walks and forest.

Going camp at Rotorua was a fun experience. Because we got to watch a show and do many exciting stuff. Most of the activities we did we had to walk but that was still fun because we saw different view. Probably the most hilarious was the sheep show. It was this man talking and making these funny jokes. He was a funny man. But the best that I would have to say is the luge ride. It was the best of all.

Netbook Refletions

Having a net-book these years is really grateful. I’m really learning a lot, mostly on maths and reading. This Laptop is good for writing, because it better that paper and pencil. It useful when you take it to your home, it like your homework.

Netbook is very useful, it helps me with my learning and other stuff. Extra maths Google Docs and Scratch is the site we use. Extra maths is good, it helps us get quicker at answer the basic facts question. Google docs is good because you can write a story and just copy and paste the story on to your blog.It fast and easy. Scratch is another site that is useful, you can create animation a game and many more.This tool is very useful in manys.

Nelson Mandela Life

Nelson Mandela, the man who fought against racism. He wanted the blacks africans to be treated equally with the whites. Nelson Mandela was known for making equality between the white and black people. His real was  Rolihlahla mandela he was really determined to make equality. He put his life on the line for his country.

Rolihlahla Mandela was born on july 18,1918 in Mvezo, Transkei. Rolihlahla Mandela was his real full name. He attended primary school in Qunu where his teacher gave him a christian name, Nelson. His teacher, Miss Mdingane gives every student a christian, So now he was known as Nelson Mandela. Nelson complete his junior certificate and began his studies on Bachelor of arts at university college.

Nelson Mandela was arrested for going against his country and trying to bring peace between white and dark skinned people. He was arrested for 27 years in jail but he did not give up. Nelson Mandela was later released from jail in 1990 feb 11. He was very determined

After being in jail for several decades, he was released at Cape Town. After that He was elected for president at the age of 75.Also he was the very first black man the be president of South

Africa. Many black african were running and blowing trumpets.  

Nelson mandela was later in hospital diagnosed with prostate cancer he was in was later released from hospital where he died at the age 95.

Nelson Mandela gives the world a lot of things that we can learn from, like being treated equal even though you're not the same skin colour. love one and another. Defend your country. Dont matter how hard life can be keep your head up and keep on going forward, and fight for the right.

Swimming

Walking down to the G.I swimming pool on bright hot day with our classmate and teacher. I was excitedly ready to watch other student, because I wasn’t allowed to swim. I was sitting down and seeing the student get into the pool. Listening to instructor for tips so next time if i”m swimming i would know what to do.

Someone whisper and no one was here

Many years past, there lived a normal boy, Jake. He had a wonderful family. Jake had 2 big brothers and 1 sister, also a dad and a mum. They shifted away from their old house and was searching for a new one. So they stay at a hotel for weeks.  They were desperate for a house. They had a lot of money but just couldn't look for right house.

After sleeping, They woke up feeling excited, ready to go and look for a perfect house. Hoping in the car, then driving off, Jake suddenly heard something whispering. He ask to his sister “hey what do you say”. But She replied “Nothing”. Anixonly Jake was shock and was wondering who whisper at him.

Finally they were there. The whisper came back and it said “Jake, Jake this is your house”. Jake started to panic but from looking around the house, it was good. It was right for our family. But there farther didn't think so.

Again the whisper said someone. So Jake had to do something. So he was determined to go and stand up to his dad. Begging and begging with all his power and the from his siblings, their dad eventually brought. Now the had a good home with great neighbours. But that not all Jake was still finding where did that whisper come from.

Labour/Halloween/Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving  is a time to be grateful for things. Countries  that celebrate ThanksGiving are Liberia,Norfolk Island,Canada,Puerto Rico and United states.  When people celebrate they have a big dinner usually with a big turkey. Thanksgiving is on the 4th thursday in november for USA Norfolk Island it is on the last wednesday of November, In liberia first thursday in november, and November 27th is Puerto Rico.

On the first thanksgiving many of them played games sang songs but many of them could not eat in 1621. The first thanksgiving lasted for 3 days. Each year the President declares thanksgiving day.

Every year they will hold hands and say what they a greatful  for. I am grateful for my parents my family and everything.  

Many people today still celebrate Thanksgiving and I well known around the world.

Labour day is a public holiday for schools and many businesses and including some government offices. In the 19th century new zealand workers tried to claim the rights for a 8 hour working day. In 1840 Samuel Parnell fought for Wellingtons right for the 8 hour day and won. The first that labour day was celebrated was in 1890 October 28th.

The first official Labour day was in Wednesday October 1990. But they have moved the day to the 4th of monday and has remained on this day ever since.  There are also many different Labour celebrations. America celebrates it to but they do it for the workers achievements.

Many people gathered together for this and paraded down many streets but only in the City Central areas.In canada labour day is meant to honor and celebrate workers and the importance of their lives

It other name is All Hallow Eve, and All saiHalloween was celebrated on October 31st. It other name is All Hallow Eve, and All saint Eve. It observed by Western Christian and many non christian from around the global.

People celebrated halloween by dressing up in a costume and going trick or treating, or going to costume parties. People do different activities like carving a pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern, apple bobbing and many more.   

All Hallow Eve is dedicated to remembering deads, including the Saint, Martyrs and faithful departed believers. Some scholar believes in samhain and has solely christian root.

American catholic believes in  witches ghost and magic on halloween day. They celebrate christain faith-related concepts for families and children's. Many people think that halloween is about candy, scary stuff and pumpkins. All saint day is a fun experience day for kids

Things that as good and not good

P	Everyone had a job to do. Helping each other and working as a team or group,We got our work done on time,
M	The not so great things are that it has to be a Movie Trailer instead of making a movie but it was still fun.
I	The things that we have to do better next time is to not wander around but do our work.
